Year 2017 have certainly been a year of changes.
And realisations.
And adapting.
And picking up where things left off.
And loads of learning.
I have finally understood and realised the meaning of
letting God. That there is so much that we can do, but
if it is not meant for us, it never will. For that, I am thankful.
I have also realised that as the years goes by, we change.
Inevitably, we change with time.
A good example would be my new found love with jogging
and flowers.
I loathe running/jogging back in school. But now have found
a great and deeper meaning to it. It is an outlet for me to get away
from everything and just run myself free from troubles. Somehow,
night jog has been my coping mechanism to my worries and whatnots.
And as for flowers, let's just say that my feminine side is much more
prominent now as compared to before. Haha. I LOVE flowers. They
have never been beautiful to me before but now I really do appreciate their
beauty.
On that note, I wish someone (anyone) would get me flowers
for my birthday! Pleaseeeee!
All in all, it has been a good and fulfilling year.
Met lots of new people.
Some chose to stay, and some chose to leave.
All I could say is,
Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal.
It has been a great start to 2018 so far.
May the year bring lots of love, happiness and contentment,
Insya'Allah.

Broken
Each and everyone of us have our own struggles in life,
and battles to overcome.
We may not understand why
certain things happen.
Or why we feel a certain way.
Or why changes occur so
abruptly.
And why curve balls are thrown
at us one after another.
We may never fully understand
life.
Or ourselves, per se.
Or ourselves, per se.
No matter how much thinking
you've thought through.
Or the countless monologues
debate you have had in your mind.
That is just how life works.
But through it all, we forget
that these are all lessons given to us by Him.
For us to be more compassionate to another.
To empathise and to be oft-forgiving to another.
To look into things in
perspectives and to focus on the positives.
To think about the good and
learn from the bad.
To count our blessings and be
grateful for what He has bestowed upon us.
Above all, to bear patience with His decree.
To have complete faith in Him.
And to not lose hope.
So understand one another, put yourself in other's shoes and never judge.
Who are we to judge, we are humans with flaws, bound to make mistakes.
Be quick to forgive.
Learn and most importantly, love even more.
Keep the peace and remove the hatred.
Conquer your fears, win your battles.
All with the intention of, for the sake of Allah swt.
If Allah (swt) intends good for someone, then He afflicts him with trials.
Sahih BukhariMay He grant you ease in your affairs and increase your patience and Imaan to go through
your tidings.
In Shaa Allah.

Stranger
I've realised that the people I met in life, no matter whether they are meant to stay or not,
are all part of my blessings in life.
What coincidence it is that, out of the billions in this world,
He has chosen us specifically, to cross path and interact with one another.
Good or bad, happy or sad, it was meant to be.
Grateful for that fleeting moment of happiness.
So the next time you meet someone, look at it in a different perspective.
That you were meant to meet because He wills so.
And each person you meet, are lessons meant for you.
There is always something that we can learn from one another.
Indeed, He has gifted me with the best lessons through them.
If it was meant to be, it will be.
Have complete faith in Him.
In Shaa Allah.
