My Korean history..

Some my have wonder why am I such a BIG fan of the Korean entertainment. As some of you might have known, I'm a sucker for anything that has got to do with Korean entertainment. Not only do I watch their dramas and movies, but I listen and sing to their songs, watch their music programs, variety shows, documentary and I've also tried to self-learn their language. The only thing I don't watch is their news, because there's no subs for it. Haha. Youtube is the medium I use to watch the various programs, and not forgetting the 2 channels on SCV. I love their variety shows, it makes you laugh your worries off. I love their music, their singers sings really well. I love their dramas, cos I just love it. Haha.

If every morning a person reads the newspaper as their everyday routine, as for me, I'll surf the Korean entertainment websites to get the latest news of the happenings in the industry. The first ever Korean drama I watched was All About Eve, I was 11 years old then, and till today it has been one of my favourites. It started out with my mom watching it, then it kinda grew on me. Not so much of a great fan then compared to now. Then, I couldn't talk and discuss about the dramas to my friends because they are clueless about it, but now I can find a common topic to talk about with them and we can be at it for hours. It is amazing how the Korean entertainment has evolved to now. They are getting more recognition.

Well, of cos having a keen interest in a country's entertainment industry does not only restrict you to that, but it also opens up more about their culture, they way the people live, their language, the types of food they eat (I love their kimchi btw!) and much much much more. So I made a promise to myself that someday, I'll be there! Hahah. Anyway, they have lots of mountains over there, so its a best place to go trekking too ey.
