Leap Year

Comes once in every 4 years.
That is why the month of February is special.
Especially the ones born in it, like me.
HAHAHA!
Ok, so just now was fun.
But towards the end, those jeebies started to get on my nerves.
Sneezed for a couple of times and head was in a little pain.
Jeebies germs!

But nothing can stop me from smiling.
Because I encountered something for the first time today.
And that moment kept replaying in my mind over and over again.

Oh red cheeks, you blew it away,
he knows.
So red when you blushed that he sees.
Oh heartbeat, you sold me away,
he knows.
So loud that he hears.
Oh wandering eyes, you told me away,
he knows.
So obvious avoiding his that he reads.
Oh little face, you made it so clear,
he knows.
So cramp hiding your smile that
he's wondering why.
A stranger in the train,
that moment was surreal.
But it felt like.. ah, nevermind.
Because the eyes never lies.

May we meet again under the wide sky.
And when we do,
may we talk with our voices instead of our eyes.
