He's 19 (born in 1989) and is a trainee with the SM Entertainment. It is some entertainment company in Korea that manages Super Junior and DBSK and other Korean artistes as well. He auditioned for SM Entertainment in Toronto and got his break appearing in Suju's come back single, Don't Don, as a violin player. He's awesome!

It appears to me, Korea entertainment industry recognises young talents regardless of where they come from. SM Entertainment even has global auditioned held in some places.
