THE MIND AND THE HEART

Ironically, the heart doesn't listen to what the mind says.

The mind says no, the heart insisted on a yes.
The mind says moved on, the heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name.

I'm stuck in the past. I thought I wasn't.

The mind says study and not care a thing, the heart says wait a little while like it always does.
The mind says walk away for the better, the heart wanted to stay just to see what'll happen.

One word. Confusion.

Walking through the park, happily as we go.
Is there such a thing?
