A FEW HOURS LEFT

Isn't it fast? How a month goes by.
The thought of meeting those realtives tomorrow excites me more.
I've been seeing them less and less these few years.
I am looking forward to the Raya atmosphere at my grandma's house.
Where it gets really loud, with everyone talking to each other,
catching up on things and has beens.
And then, one moment, someone would start the maaf-maafan and everybody
would get up on their feet and cries can be heard.
Well as for me, sometimes, I would rather keep myself quiet
and sink in the moments like that in a corner.
Talking to cousins younger than me, is a must.
Them, of cos comparing their heights against mine, I would broadly smile,
and accept the fact that they have grown few inches taller in a year than me.
Raya is the most special event in my ordinary life.
Its a period to celebrate, so be in the right mood!
