The Mind Tree.
A Miraculous Child Breaks the Silence of Autism.

The title of this blog is the title of a book that I'm currently reading right now. What amazes me the most about this particular book is that, it tells a story of an autistic child with the ability to connect with the world through his writing. As many reviews said, Tito, the boy in this story has defies the assumptions people have about autism.

It seems that 30th May is the brithday of many people. Happy birthday to Fir, Faris and Elle. May you have a great year ahead. Smile always. =)).

Unlike any other Wednesday, my day today was occupied with activities. Went for the ClimbRun briefing before heading to MCG workshop. Today was tarian's (malay dance) day. It has been long since I danced malay dance and the last time I remembered dancing to malay songs was when I was in Primary 3. My first ever cca in my life then. But back then, I wasn't commited and I quit after a few trainings. So you would expect me to be all awkward just now when they taught us the steps. We learned to dance to the sound of zapin, inang, joget and asli. It was the basic of course. I didn't know that dancing to this was way harder than I thought, but somehow, I enjoyed the boy's performance and I seriously thought that they danced a better rendition than me. Hah!

Met up with Farhana yesterday after a month long or so disappearance. Guess we're both busy. As usual, catch up with one another and I'm glad we met up. =)).

Studies has been so-so. Passed my effective writing skills, like yay! Still lost in Accounts, hell no! Projects are coming up, for every module. Urgh! Lots more ICAs next week and holiday is getting nearer, but its only for 2 weeks. Boohoo! Can't wait for 5N1 gathering though. =)))).

The reason why I joined MCG was because I do not want to forget my roots and the beauty of the culture. Somehow these days, I tend to converse in English more than I do in Malay. Well, that was at least part of my reason. Hah. But no regrets in joining it though.

tinggi rumput dari ruang.
apa diharap pada kami
budi tiada, bahasa pun kurang.

Public holiday tomorrow. Am gonna finish reading up my malay novel and the book. Till here, good day!

If the mind disagree with the heart, which do you choose?
